How To Glue Down Floor Transition Strips

Glue or nail the strip to the subfloor if it doesn t have a track. Use construction adhesive if you glue it and 2 inch finish nails if you nail it. Then press it onto the floor. Mark the floor where the transition strip is to be located taking care to allow for any required expansion space as specified by the flooring manufacturer.
