Unfortunately many floor lamps tend to lean over time because the pole s grip loosens and sags to one side.
The shade may be left in place if it is a solid.
If so you will need to basically disassemble the lamp from the bottom up.
Get the new wires.
Then in the reverse order tighten each section until you get back to the bottom.
With common tools you can fix your wobbly lamp in minutes.
This will eliminate the possibility of replacing one part only to have the problem be the part that was not replaced.
If the lamp is leaning from the base tighten the bolt that is in the base of the lamp.
2 unscrew the section that is loose.

3 take a small piece of duct tape and wrap it around the inner grooves of the pole.
